The Recap

The last time we left off your party had struggled through days of ceaseless fighting to eliminate the illithid threat, culminating in your final fight with an illithid general. Following this encounter you were sent to find a rogue elvish agent named Selussa Valro, who seemed to be responsible for the capture of the Queen of Ebriom, Elenea Ebriomorin. After an unsuccessful attempt to find her following the battle of Arlendale, and while running out of time for Tenac’s zombie affliction, you traveled to Windcrest, where you found the cure and discovered Commander Nadir, a bronze dragon-born and his crew who run a luxury cruise liner. You spent a few days relaxing as the ship made its way around the coastline 0f Fenwrath.

Along the way, Tenac was yet again attacked by Agaro, the bone devil with a vendetta against him. During the fight Tenac was very nearly slain, giving him the idea to fake his death. With the help of a Fenwrathian traveling troupe of bards the ruse was set in place.

Upon your arrival to the city of Halite, you hired a wizard that, for a price, would teleport you into the city of Korvane. Which was currently under siege by the native army of Fenwrath, the Blackguard. Once you arrived you discovered that a single werewolf and his small army were keeping the other weres trapped here and under his thumb. You also discovered that Rhee-locks father had been captured. While you were in the city, it was also laid siege to by several celestial angels as representatives from the Gods. You found that they were here for Robin, who had come to the city in search of a Divine Mote, which he believed your friend One-shoe possessed. In a fairly easy fight, you defeated the alpha werewolf and escaped the city, freeing hundreds of Weres in the process. After traveling to Rhee-lock’s home compound, you were met by a teleporting Liam that had received word that you had not checked in with the Council of Ebriom. Deciding that it was long past time to return to your new island, you returned with Liam and arrived on the island to a long list of things to finish.

To start you were sent to clear out a hydra that had made the southern portion of your island its home. After a tense fight, your friend Holmes had fallen in a hole that led to a long forgotten buried temple that housed some sort of mysterious entity.

Your newfound friend, Wabash, revealed that his people, tritons, have a bit of experience with portals and rifts. Once you found out that the rift in Lashmere had begun to grow, he sent word to Kae, a friend of his in the Glowing Depths and they agreed to send an elder and research team to see if anything can be done about the rift.

Not allowing for much downtime, it was discovered that Liam had not returned from his excursion with a couple members of Tenac’s family. Heading out on a rescue mission, you stumbled upon another new member to the island, an archaeologist. (can’t remember name.) When you found Liam’s campsite, you were ambushed, presumably by members of the Faroth. Saving Liam and killing most of them you rested for the night, before waking to a redheaded assassin, that looked exactly like Holmes in his ginger form. The assassin preceded to murder Holmes and flee into the nearby forest. Carrying his body, Shareus’s body, and Zhermos’s body back to the village, you had funerals for each of them. Some of you discovering a lot about yourselves.

On the same day as the funerals, a small group of vampires had arrived to the island declaring that you would allow them to dig on the island in search of a lost temple or there would be repercussions. You eventually agreed to meet with the Queen of these Vampires on their island.

You had been summoned early in the morning, by your friend Councilman Liam to inspect the Lashmere rift. As you arrived, you noticed that the rift was ebbing and flowing as if it were alive. Upon closer inspection, you spotted a small white smooth stone that was assumed to be causing the magical interference.

Unfortunately your investigation was interrupted by a series of gunshots all targeted at Oneshoe. Oneshoe fell and began convulsing. In the commotion, the leader fled the scene, but two of the shooters involved were taken into custody. After some discussion, Bennie removed the white stone from underneath the rift. Following the removal of the stone, the rift seemed to stay sporadic.

After a quick rest, and bath you awaken and eat dinner beginning to travel into the city to meet the vampires and travel to their island home.

We pick up with you guys in the manor house following dinner and prepping for your next foray into the unknown.
